Bishop Robert ThomasRobert Thomas
 Bishop / Pastor

Bishop Robert B. Thomas was born in Opa-Locka, Alabama. Later moved to Florida and attended the area schools. He graduated from Chisholm High and then attended Grambling State University and DBCC now known as (Daytona State College). Bishop Thomas received the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Howard James Rogers.

In March 1968 he married Sister Olivia Teemer. They are the parents of three sons Kevin (Angie), Vincent (Patricia) and Victor (Tameka) and one daughter Tamara (Michael) and are the grandparents of nine and are the surrogate grandparents of many, many more.

Bishop Thomas served under the leadership of the late Harman Frazier and upon his demise he continued to serve under the leadership of District Elder Thomas Teemer. In 1973 he was called into the Ministry and in 1982 he was ordained at the Florida State Council as an Elder, knowing at that time he was called also to pastoralship. He later became ordained as a District Elder in 1992 and later becoming Suffragan Bishop. He served as Chairmen of the Florida State Council for seven years.

Through much prayer and supplication of him and First Lady Olivia Thomas the Lord gave a mighty vision which magnified through prayers of his family and saints on January 10th, 1988 the vision….. Became… a reality! Now That the vision had become a reality. The Lord gave yet another vision that to many seemed farfetched. Through his obedience and trusting God the next vision became a reality. The theme at that time was from” Vision to Victory” and Smyrna West Assisted Living facility was founded.

On August 10, 2012 at the 97th Annual Convention of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., Bishop Thomas was consecrated by the Presiding Bishop, Bishop Charles H. Ellis III and the Executive Board as the Bishop of the South Philippines.  Bishop Thomas will be traveling to the Philippines at least twice a year to meeting with the Saints there for Worship and Praise and will also to minister & spread the "AWESOME WORD OF GOD" to the LOST.
